Description
Designed to integrate seamlessly into transfer lines, the Servinox pigging system is intended to recover and make use of residual product left in the piping by means of a pig. The pig is positioned upstream of the area to be cleared, then propelled through the piping by a pushing fluid (gas or liquid).
The standard equipment consists of an in-line launch station, a receiving station, and a pig. It can be complemented by full-bore multi-way valves (MV), which allow the lines to be adapted to optimize the pigging phases. Pigging control can be manual or automated using a pig speed control panel (RVO).
Applications
- Pigging on transfer lines for all types of liquids
- Equipment particularly suited for lines distributing viscous, loaded, and/or solidifying liquids (creams, chocolate, caramel, etc.)
Options
- Safety features for pigging in automatic operation
- Heated launch station body (jacketed): circulation of heating fluid to prevent process fluid from solidifying in the stations
